What are the benefits of joining Byzhub?
Byzhub is a business directory that does Business Backwards – where you don’t pay unless you get business, consumers don’t search for business; it comes to them in minutes, and we reward requests for business because being nice never goes out of style.
It’s the best way to do business. We look forward to giving you the full 180º experience.

1.If you are a consumer.
Byzhub focuses on connecting you with local businesses making it easier for you to shop around for the perfect match and the best deals. You can use the Byzhub directory to search businesses by category, keywords, and location and even by project. By posting free Byzhub Quote Requests you can ask for the product or service your need and local businesses will contact you with their offer. You can also evaluate and compare business by looking at customer reviews and the average satisfaction rating on their profile.

2.If you are a B2B business
Byzhub sends you business. You can connect with other businesses, join their Byzhub network and keep them updated about your latest offers in real time. You can also look for Byzhub Quote Requests that match what your business offers and get new clients at a low cost. If you need a product or services for your business you can post a Byzhub Quote Request that will be visible only to local businesses. To help you gain the trust of new potential customers Byzhub has created the Byzhub Reviews where your current customers can review your services and rate their satisfaction.

3.If you are a B2C business
Byzhub will increase your visibility online. When consumers look for local businesses on the Byzhub directory you will be right there! Byzhub will only connect you to consumers: the ones actively looking for what your business offers. Consumers also advertise their needs directly on Byzhub by posting Byzhub Quote Requests where they describe the product or service they need. You can then contact them directly to offer your solution to their need. To help you gain the trust of new potential customers Byzhub has created the Byzhub Reviews where your current customers can review your services and rate their satisfaction.

4. If you are a charity or other non-profit organization
Byzhub will get you connected with potential sponsors, donors, supporters, etc. Byzhub can help you centralize your communication with ByzBuzz . There you can create updates about your cause, your events, and new actions by your organization, etc. These updates will appear on your Byzhub profile, the Byzhub home page but also on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn in one click.

Does it cost money to join Byzhub?

Byzhub is free to join and will never require that you pay any fee to stay on. Placing a quote request on Byzhub will also always be free. If you choose to use Text Notification or visit Byzhub from your mobile device, please remember that you will be responsible for any fees associated with Internet usage or text messaging determined by your mobile service provider.
You will not receive any SMS or even email notifications from Byzhub unless you have specifically requested it in your notification settings.

Does Byzhub charge?

It will always be FREE to join and stay on Byzhub. Businesses responding to Byzhub Quote Requests will pay a fee. We will only charge for the Byzhub activity that actually gets businesses money, so that's only fair. Here is how it works:
For $75 it can buy the right to respond to unlimited quote requests for a 6 months (181 days).
For an additional $25 a business can receive automatic text notification of relevant Quote Requests. This gives the business a competitive edge as it can instantly respond to the request before any competitor does and before the customer/client leaves the computer.

Where should I go to sign up?

Click on the “Free to Join” button on the home page of www.Byzhub.com

What information is needed to sign up?

In order to sign up click on the “Free to Join” button on the home page and enter you email address, a password of your choice and your answer to the question “Are you a business?”. Then, please read the terms and conditions check on the box to show your agreement and submit your information.
Then, you will receive an email at the email address you provided. The email will be “from” info@Byzhub.com and will contain a verification link. Please check your email and click on your verification link to finalize your registration.

I did not receive a verification email, what should I do?

If you cannot find the verification email in your inbox it might be in your junk/spam folder. Check for an email from Byzhub.com and mark it as safe or move it into your inbox.

What is the minimum age to join?

In order to be part of the Byzhub users need to be 15 years of age or older.




Creating your account


I have clicked on the link in the email and landed on the Byzhub.com page, what should I do next?

If you are a consumer
As a consumer, your Byzhub profile is limited to your name and a short description. You are probably looking for information about local businesses relevant to your needs. If you need a specific product or service you can start by requesting quotes. Just go to the “Quote Requests” page and post a request. If you do not need a quote you can also view the profiles of local business in the “Profiles” section.

If you are a business or a non-profit organization
If someone invited you to join Byzhub, please tell us who it was. Click on “Select Profile', search their full name or business name and we will find them in our database for you. Else, just click on “I was not invited by another business.' In the control panel you will be able to update your business information. Check the “Creating and modifying a profile” help section for more details.

Why is my profile inactive and does not appear on the website?

Your organization's profile will not appear on the site until you have entered all the required information in the “Edit Public Profile” section. You will need to enter:
1.Your organization's Byzhub web address (URL)
2.Your organization's name
3.A detailed description of your organization
4.A short description (your tagline),
5.Your contact details (name and email)
6.The location of your organization (city and country)
7.Its primary phone number
8. At least one appropriate category for your organization.
Once you have entered this information and accepted the Terms and Conditions your profile page will become public. Click on “View Public Profile” to see your profile from the point of view of a visitor.

Why does it ask me for my “Business Information” even though I specified the profile is for a charity/non-profit organization?

We use the same profile generating system for all organizations: for-profit and non-profit. We thought using the word “business” for everybody would be simpler. Enter the information about your charity or non-profit service and specify early on that you are not a business but another type of organization. Also, when choosing a category for your “business” you can pick “Charity” or “Service Organization (Non-Profit)” to identify yourself as such. When your profile is viewed by visitors the word “business” will not appear anywhere. Click on “View Public Profile” to see for yourself.

Why can't I create a profile?

You need to register as a business, charity, or non-profit organization in order to be able to create a profile.

What should I choose for my Byzhub web address?

You are free to choose whatever Byzhub address you wish to use as long as it is not used yet and representative of your organization. It does not have to be the name of your organization, though it is recommended. Think about what potential customers would type when searching online for you or the products/services you offer and try to use that as your web address. Keep it as simple as possible and consistent with the rest of your social media communication.

The web address that I want is already taken, what can I do?

If another organization has the same name as you or offers the same products, think about what makes you different. Are you in a different city? Are you focusing on a different audience? Think about how your customers or supporters would describe you for inspiration.


What should I put in my “Business description'?

This is the “longer” description of what your organization is and what it stands for. Vision, mission, value and anything else that is key to understand what your business is about should be listed here. Remember that on the Internet the attention span of readers is limited so try to keep it short and sweet. Three sentences is an ideal length.

Why does it refuse to save the street address that I have typed in?

Check that your address is complete including the postal code. Also check that your address is typed in exactly in the same way it would be when mail is sent to your organization.

How should I choose my categories?


A category is what YOUR business falls into and not the people you are targeting. Categories help customers and businesses looking for you find you easier on Byzhub.
Example: If you are a company offering marketing consulting to realtors and lawyers do not categorize yourself in Law or Housing, that's not where your clients will look for you. Instead, pick the Marketing and Consulting categories.

How should I choose keywords for my organization?

Keywords help people find you when they are searching for organizations offering your products and services.

What are the benefits of completing the profile?

By completing the profile you will gain more credibility and increase your chances to get business or support. Businesses with a complete profile are more likely to get the contract when answering to a Byzhub Quote Request.


Editing profile information

How do I access the page to edit my profile?

You can access this page from any page of Byhub.com.
Look on the upper-right corner for the link called “Control Panel” and click on it.
Click on “EDIT YOUR PUBLIC PROFILE.”
Update the information in the available fields.
Click on “Save”

How do I edit my contact details and links?

To edit your contact details and the links to your website or social media profiles, first click “Control Panel” on the upper-right part of the website. Then, click on “Edit your public profile.” Go to the General tab, scroll down to move from “Business Information” to “Contact Details.” There you can modify your email and links to your website, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn profiles.

How do I edit my contact information such as phone, address and hours of operation?

To edit your contact details and the links to your website or social media profiles, first click “Control Panel” on the upper-right part of the website. Then, click on “Edit your public profile.” Go to the “Locations” tab and scroll to “Main Location”. You will be able to edit your Street Address (we can automatically find your Postal/Zip Code), your Primary and Alternate Phone numbers, your Fax number and your Hours of Operation.

What should I do if I have more than one location?

With Byzhub you can easily add, edit and delete as many locations as you want. Scroll down the screen after you have added your primary location to the “Additional Locations” section. To add an additional location, fill in the information in the available field and click on save. Once you have saved the information you can then add another location, and another, and another until all of your business locations are listed.

I added the URL of a web page in the “Website Address” section and it said “Website Address must be a valid URL”. What should I do?

First, check that the URL you typed in is indeed valid. Copy it and paste it into your browser to see if it leads you to the web page you chose to promote.
If it is a functioning URL, then it might be too long for us to recognize it. In this case you can solve the problem by using URL shortening services such as
http://bit.ly/, http://cli.gs/ or http://ow.ly/url/shorten-url. There are many websites offering URL shortening services and you can look for the one that works best for you. The steps to get your web page on your profile are:
Go on the URL shortening website
Paste in the address of the page you wanted to put on your profile
Shorten it with a click
Copy the new short URL
Paste it in the “Website address” field.
Can I add HTML coding in my “Business Description” section to embed additional content or an application?

Our system does not support HTML embedding but you can still upload images and include two embedded You Tube videos to your profile by going to the “Media” section of your Profile Settings.



Profile images and videos

How do I upload a profile picture or company logo?

First click “Control Panel” on the upper-right part of the website. Then, click on “Edit your public profile.” Go to the Media tab and click on “UPLOAD.” In your computer files, choose your business logo or an image that could serve as a logo. The image you choose has to be smaller than 900KB.

Can I upload more images?

You can upload one logo image by going to the Media tab and clicking on the first 'UPLOAD” button. If you want to upload more images scroll down and click on the second “UPLOAD” button. You can then select a picture that will go in the profile's “Photo Gallery.” You can add as many images as you want in the photo gallery. The maximum image size allowed is 900KB.

How do I see images previously uploaded?

If you have changed your profile/logo image you cannot view older logo images. If you have uploaded the image to your “Photo Gallery” you can view them by going to the Media tab and scrolling them. They will be in chronological order from the older to the most recent image.

How do I delete images?

Go back to the “Edit your public profile” page, go to the Media tab and scroll down to the image you want to delete. Then click on the “Delete” button and then the “Save” button.

When I try to upload an image I get a message saying that the image is too big.

You can re-size or crop your image on a photo editing software until it is down to a 900KB file size. Rename the new image and try uploading it again.

How do I upload a video on my profile?

In order to have a video on your profile you need to first upload it on www.youtube.com. Then copy the video ID link into the “YouTube Video URL” field in the Media section of your profile settings.
Please only upload videos your organization has the rights on. The videos will appear at the bottom of your profile in the VIDEOS section.

I got an error message when trying to embed a YouTube video, what should I do?

The URL has to be a direct link to one specific video. To have the proper URL click on the “Share' button under the YouTube video of your choice and copy the URL link. Then, paste it instead of the URL that was not accepted.


How do I delete a video from my profile?

Go back to the “Edit your public profile” page, go to the “Media' tab and scroll down to the YouTube videos section. Then select the URL, erase it and click on the “Save” button.



Creating and editing your Reward Program

What is the Reward Program?

The Reward Program is specific to our business directory. A Reward Program will help you build relationships with other businesses. By offering rewards such as a discount, a gift card, or even a cut of the profit, for every referral you get, you can encourage people to send customers/donors/sponsors to your business/non-profit organization.

How can I create a reward?

If you have a reward or other “thank you program” in mind for people and business that send you business, then go to “Edit your public profile.” When there, go to the “Reward Program” tab and describe in a few words the reward you will give them for the referral. The reward description will appear on your profile.

Reward Program privacy settings:
If you want only some specific people to see your reward offers go to the “Reward Program” section of your “Profile Settings” and scroll down to under your reward description. The default setting for “Who should be able to see your Reward Program” is 'Everybody”. But you can also choose:
- ”Signed-In businesses only”: Only organizations that have a profile on Byzhub and are logged in can see your “reward program.”
- ”My network only': Only people you have invited to your network or that you accepted in your network will be able to see it.
-”Nobody (Disabled)”: Only you will be able to see it until you set it back to another privacy level. This allows you to “delete” your reward offer from your profile without deleting it from your profile settings page.

When describing your rewards make sure you make it clear that only people who send you paying clients/customers/supporters will receive a reward.

How will I know that someone referred business to me?
It is very likely that the person who referred business to you will personally contact you to inform you about it in order to get their reward. Make sure your contact information on your profile is up to date.

Can I offer different rewards for different types of referrals?
Yes, you can list all the different rewards and conditions to get them in the “Reward Program” field.

How can I delete my reward offer?

Go back to the “Reward Program” tab in your Profile Settings page, select all the text, erase it and click on the “Save” button.

 


Badges and reviews


What are the “Badges”?

A badge is a link to your profile or review ratings that you can embed on your website, blog and even on some social media profile pages. We have two types of badge:
1)View my profile badge
This badge is to inform visitors of your web pages that you are listed on Byzhub. It can be seen as a “badge of approval' from Byzhub that adds credibility to your business.
2)Review ratings badge
Show off your high review ratings by embedding this badge on your website, blog and social media profile. Instead of N/A it will show the actual average rating (in %) of your business.

How do I use the “Badges”?

Double click on the HTML code in the badge field box to copy it, then paste it where you would like it to appear on your website. The badge you have chosen will appear on your website. People clicking on it will be able to view your profile page and review you.

What is Byzhub reviews?

Byzhub reviews are made by clients, customers and other businesses who have used your products or services. Reviews make potential customers/supporters feel confident that you're the right choice for the job. It shows consumers that you are transparent and consumers demand transparency today! You can share the average rating of your organization by pasting the HTML for the Byzhub Review Rating Badge on your website or other relevant web page.

How can I get Byzhub reviews?
If you would like to have more customer reviews you can put the Byzhub badges on your organization's website, blog and social media pages and encourage your customers and supporters to click on the Badge to rate and review your organization. You can also simply send them the URL link to your profile page, if you prefer.



Building a network on Byzhub

What is a Byzhub network?

The network creates links to your business with other businesses on Byzhub. A link to your business's profile will appear on the profile pages of your contacts (more exposure).
When you make an announcement on the Forum, send out a ByzBuzz you can notify every contact in your network directly and instantly.

How do I find people/business I know to add them to my network?

Go to your “Control Panel” page and then to “Your Network' page. You can search organizations that you know on Byzhub by clicking on “Select Profile.”
Then, follow these steps:

Type in the name of the organization or the person who runs it.
Click on “Search”
Click on “Select” next to the Business you recognize and want to add.
Click on the “Add to Network” button to add the new contact.
Check your Network Requests to see the people you have invited. You must wait for them to respond to your invitation before they are in your network.

How can I find new people/organizations to add to my network?

Go to the “Profiles” page of Byzhub.com. There, you can find organizations by location, by keyword, or by category.

1.Finding organizations by location
Click the “Distance” column and businesses will be sorted by distance from you. Or - Do not type keyword, choose the distance from your location (5km to 500km), type in the postal code of your location or any other location of your choice and click on “Find!' You can view the various organizations on a map by clicking on the “Display Map View”. You can see the list of organizations as you scroll down.

2.Finding organizations by keyword

Type any keyword, choose the distance from your location (optional) and click on “Find!' You can see the list of organizations that match your keyword(s) as you scroll down.

3.Finding organizations by category
The left sidebar lists all the categories that exist on Byzhub and the number of organizations registered under each category. Click on the category of your choice and the page will be refreshed with a list of Byzhub within this category. Scroll down and click on the name of the organization you want to add.

When you found an organization you want to add to your network click on its name to view its profile and then click on the “Add to my network” button to invite the organization to join your network.

Why is there a green dot next to the name of an organization listed on Byzhub?
It's good news! This means this organization has a reward program.

The people I want to add to my network are not on Byzhub. What can I do?

If you have many contacts but they do not have a Byzhub profile, you can invite them to join Byzhub as an organization (only businesses and non-profit organizations can be in your network). They would have nothing to lose: Byzhub is free and does not require them to share personal information.

How do I invite people to join Byzhub?

To invite your contacts to add their organization to Byzhub and join your network:
Go to the “Control Panel”
Scroll down the Account Home page to the INVITE section.
Type your email address in the space provide then forward from your email manger on your computer or
Type in the email addresses of the people you want to invite with a coma between each email.
Click on “Send Invitation”
You should see the message “Your invitation was successfully sent to all the specified email address(es).”
Click on “Cancel” to close the box.

What message will the people I invite receive?

We are always improving, so please send the invite to yourself.

Can I create a personal invite message when inviting people to Byzhub?

Yes you can, send the invite to yourself and then tweak as you wish before you send it to your contact list.

Can I send a message along to my invite to join my network?

People you invite to join your network will receive an automatic message with the description of your profile. If you want, you can rewrite your business description so it focuses on what you would like people to know about your organization when they are invited to your network.




Managing your networking

How can I see who is in my network?

There are two ways to view who is on your network:

1.Go to the “Control Panel” page of your account and go to the “Your Network' page and scroll down to see the organizations that are in your network.
2. View your profile and scroll down to the “Network' section.

How do I delete people from my network?

Go to “Your Network' in your account Control Panel and look for the people you want to delete. Then click on “Remove from My Network'


How do can I report a spammer on Byzhub?
If you believe an organization is misbehaving on Byzhub you can go to their organization's profile and scroll down to the bottom of their profile. On the left, click on the “Report this profile.” A window will pop up and you can write down the details of why you want to report this profile. Give examples of spamming activities of this organization.

Communicating with your network

I have received an email telling me:” A business has requested that you become a part of their network.” I clicked on “View Your Network” but could not see my network. Why?

If you are registered on Byzhub as an individual and not as an organization you cannot join a network. If you are a freelance consultant or any other self-employed worker you can still create a profile as a business and use your name as the business name (if you do not have another business name). This way, people will be able to add you to their network and you will be able to add people to your network.

How can I send a private message to people in my network?

There are two different ways you can communicate with your network:

Go to the “Control Panel” page, view your network, click on “View Profile” under the description of the person you want to communicate, on their profile page click on “Email Xxxx Xxxx.” A window will pop up where you can write your message that will directly, and privately, be sent to your contact.
Go to “View Public Profile”, scroll down to the ByzBuzz box and type in your message. This message will be public and visible on your profile page. When you click on the small box next to “Email this post to my Byzhub network” the message will also be sent directly to your network. This option is perfect for public promotional offers relevant to your network.

What is ByzBuzz ?
When you have news to share about your business, wouldn’t it be nice to post it once and have it shared across all touchpoints?

With ByzBuzz you can share news about your organization's activities or share news with people on Byzhub via your profile and the Byzhub home page but also with your networks on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and more. ByzBuzz synchronizes up to 42 social networking platforms (yes, 42!) with the click of a button.

Here is all you can do with ByzBuzz :
You have a promotion, event or an announcement about your business
You can schedule your ByzBuzz (date & time), go ahead plan your week or month
Attach a flyer, application form or picture for more impact
All ByzBuzz have a short link back to your business profile page

Posting a ByzBuzz

How can I post a ByzBuzz on Byzhub?

Broadcast your ByzBuzz message in the following way:
-Sign in your account
-Go to to ByzBuzz page and click on the “your profile” link.
-Type the text inside the “BYZBUZZ ” white box.
-Click on “Submit Now.”
Your ByzBuzz will appear on your profile and will be posted on the “Latest ByzBuzz Posts” page of Byzhub.

How can I email a ByzBuzz message to all the people in my network?

Message your whole network directly in the following way:
-Type the text in the ByzBuzz field box on your profile
-Check the box next to “Email this post to my Byzhub network”
-Click on “Submit Now.”


How can I send my ByzBuzz to my social networks?

Check the box next to “Post this on my social networks such as twitter and facebook”
Look for your Ping.fm key by clicking on http://ping.fm/key/. If you do not have a Ping.fm account, go to http://ping.fm to create an account.
Copy the Desktop/ Web Key, paste it in the white box and click on “Save Ping Key”
Your ByzBuzz will be linked to your Ping.fm account and your messages can now be sent to all the social networks connected to your Ping.fm account.

How can I schedule my ByzBuzz for a specific date?

You can schedule one or more ByzBuzz to be broadcasted at specific dates and times. Here are the steps:
Type in the message you want to broadcast later.
Click on the “Submit Later” button
Click on the field next to “Select a date and time” and click on your chosen date on the calendar.
Click on the time of the day of your choice
Click on “Submit”
The ByzBuzz will appear in a grey area on your profile when viewed by you but will not be visible to others until the specified date and time chosen. You can plan for more than one post-dated ByzBuzz at a time and plan for a full month or more of regular ByzBuzz messages.

How can I attach images/videos to my ByzBuzz?

Note: Formatting will only appear if you share the ByzBuzz on Byzhub only; if you send it to other social media websites via Ping.fm the formatting will disappear.
If you want the image/video to be actually visible on your ByzBuzz it needs to be hosted by a third party website such as Youtube for videos and Flickr of Photobucket for images.
For a video, you can attach a YouTube video by using a [youtube] tag.
Ex: [youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xBvOhfL4mYw[/youtube]
For an image, use [img] tag and the HTML code (photo file link) of the specific image as provided by Photobucket or another image hosting website.
Ex: [img]http://www.google.ca/intl/en_us/images/logo.gif[/img]
Why did I receive an error message when attaching an image or video to my ByzBuzz?

Check that the link is in the proper format. It should be ending with .jpg or .gif for an image link.

I have attached an image/video to my ByzBuzz and it appears as a document to download, can I change that?

All attachments sent along a ByzBuzz are downloadable attachments. People can view your image/video by clicking on it. If you want the image/video to be

How can I add a document to download to my ByzBuzz?

Click on the Upload Attachment button and choose a document to upload. The name of the document will be visible as an attachment to your ByzBuzz once it is submitted.





Quote Requests

What's a Byzhub Quote Request?
Byzhub’s Quote Request feature is the glue to the business community. Whether you need a service, are offering a service, or know of someone who needs a service, this feature helps build a strong business community, forms new (and long-term) customer relationships, and makes doing business a breeze. With Quote Request, you know instantly when a customer needs your service; they know instantly that you want to do business with them.


Writing and posting Byzhub Quote Requests
How can I post a quote request?

Go to the “Quote Requests” page, click on “Post a Quote Request” and then fill out the form:
-Enter a short title describing the product or service you need
-Click on Change location and enter the postal code or the name of the city where you would like the product or service to be delivered
-Give as much details as possible about the kind of service or product you are looking for: the more information you provide, the easier it is to find the right business for your request. Try to use a friendly tone to attract as many businesses as possible.

How can I categorize my quote request to target specific businesses?

You can select the category that fits your request best. Think about the category of the business that is most likely to fit the needs described in your quote request. Be careful when you choose the category because only businesses that are registered in the category you chose will be able to respond.
Example: If you are a lawyer looking for a quote request for Web design services choose the category “Web & Internet,” not Law. Then, only businesses that are classified on Byzhub, as Web & Internet businesses will be able to respond


What if my quote request fits more than one category?
You can post your quote request a second time under the other category you believe fits your request.

Why can't I see my quote request on the list of quote requests?
Your quote request is most likely deactivated. It might be because your quote request does not match Byzhub's Quote Request regulations. All quote requests should be to hire someone. It cannot be a promotion or a trade of services (because that would also promote your services). Check your email, you might have received a short explanation on why your quote request was deactivated. If you were actually looking to hire a contractor or buy a product, you can change your quote request to meet the requirements: go to Control Panel, click on” Quote Request Posted.” At the bottom of the page click on Edit and when done editing click on” Submit Quote Request.” Go back to the “Quote Request posted” page and click on Reactivate.

How can I delete a Quote Request?
You cannot delete Quote Request, you can deactivate, go to your Control Panel > Quote Requests Posted find the request you wish to deactivate and click “Deactivate”

How can I hide a Quote Request?

Go to “Quote Requests Posted” and click on Deactivate. Your Quote Request will then not be visible to the public. You can still view the Quote and the responses to it when you are signed in.

How can I publish an old Quote Request again?
You can reactivate the Quote by going to “Quote Requests Posted” and clicking on Reactivate. It is best to create a new Quote Request. Reactivating does not notify businesses that it has been reactivated.

How can I know if someone responded to my Quote Request?
You will receive an email informing you that you have received replies to your Quote Request. If you want instant notification you can also go to your Notification Settings to ask for SMS notifications when someone responds to a Quote Request you posted.

Why didn't I receive any notification that someone responded to my Quote request?

If you do not, please check your Notifications Settings to see if you have selected “email notification” for responses to Quote Requests you posted. If you have not received an email notification, you will still be able to see if someone replied by signing up on Byzhub. On the upper-right corner of the page you can see an envelope and a number that indicates if you have new notifications. Click on the number to view your Control Panel page. A link to the responses will appear under the “Quote Requests You Have Posted” section as you scroll down.

How can I view responses to my Quote Requests?
Go to your Byzhub account and open the Quote Requests Posted page. Then scroll down your posted Quote Request and click on “view.” Responses to that Quote Request will appear under.

How can I contact the people who responded to my Quote Request?
If they did not put their contact details directly in their response to your Quote Request you can click on their Byzhub account name at the top of their response to view their profile. There you can contact them by email or find their phone number to call them.



Responding to Byzhub Quote Requests
How can I view only Quote Requests relevant to my business?
Go to Quote Request and click on a category relevant to your business on the left to view Quote Requests you could reply to.

How will I know someone posted a Quote Request relevant to my business?
When another business or customer posts a Request for a service in your category, you’ll receive an email in your Inbox and/or an instant text message on your phone. You can check your Notifications Settings to make sure you have activated at least the email notifications for Quote Requests posted in one of your categories. SMS notifications can give you the chance to be the first to reply to a Quote Request and therefore increases your chances to get the contract.

How can I respond to a Quote Request?
If you have received a notification about a Quote Request that matches your business, click on the link and then select Respond To This Request. The customer will receive your detailed offer in an email and a link to your Byzhub profile.

What information should I include in my reply to a Quote Request?

On top of details about what you can offer that matches the needs described in the Quote Request it is good to include your contact information: a name, email and phone number. You do not have to include your rates/price but it is recommended as it allows the customer to compare your value with the value offered by other businesses who responded too.

Who will be able to view my response to a Quote Request?
Only the person who has posted the Quote Request you have replied to will be able to view the details of your response. Other viewers checking the Quote Request will only be able to know that you have responded to the Quote Request and will be able to click on a link to your Byzhub profile.

How can I keep track of my responses to other people's Quote Requests?
Save the link of the Quote Requests you responded to and see if they are still online and if competitors have also responded.

How can I delete a response to a Quote Request?
Once you have responded the response is sent to the poster via email, as with an email, once you submit there is no recourse

I can I edit/modify my response to a Quote Request?
You cannot edit/modify your response to a Quote Request once you have sent it because it is sent directly to their email. You can nevertheless still send a second response to the Quote Request with the needed modifications and/or additional information.
I would like to refer another business to the person who posted the Quote Request, how do I do it?
You can click the share via Facebook icon, the Tweet icon or the email icon to share the Quote Request.
You cannot contact the person who posted the Quote Request unless your own organization is in the same category as the Quote Request. Instead, contact the business you know would fit the Quote Request and send them a direct link to the Quote Request page.



Email and SMS notifications

How do I set up my account to receive email and/or text message notifications?

Give your business the cutting edge it needs to respond first to quote requests with instant text notification.

Go to your Control Panel and click on “Notification Settings”
Check the box next to “I wish to receive notifications by email” if you wish to receive your notifications by email
Check the box next to “I wish to receive notifications by SMS” and enter your mobile phone
Click on Save
Enter the code sent by text to your mobile in the Security Code and click on Verify Mobile
Click Save

How do I control my notifications from Byzhub?
Go to the “Notification Settings' section of your Byzhub account and check or uncheck the box depending on if you want to receive a notification for the various changes and activities on Byzhub.

How can I change the email address to which Byzhub sends notifications?

Go to your Control Panel and then to the “Notification Settings' page. There you can change the notification email by writing your new email address in the box.

Can I reply to a quote request directly through my mobile?
You can only if you can login to your byzhub.com business profile from your phone. Please consult your carrier about charges that you will have if you access Byzhub.com through your cell service. You should have a data plan to limit your fees. These costs are not Byzhub.com’s responsibility.

I received a notification that someone posted a quote request but I don't see it on Byzhub?
The Quote Request was probably deactivated (hidden from public view) by the person who posted it because they already found a business for the service or product they required. To avoid such trouble in the future get the SMS instant notifications to your mobile phone to get the chance to be the first to reply to a Quote Request that matches your business category.
How can I personalize the notifications to only receive emails when quote requests are posted that are relevant to my business?
We will only send you notifications for new Quote Requests posted within your business categories making it very likely that they are relevant to your business. If you receive too many notifications for Quote Requests do not match what your business has to offer, consider changing your business categories by going to your “Edit Public Profile” page.

Byzhub will send a code via text to your phone to verify your number.
Enter this code online, click Verify Mobile, and click save.

Then scroll down and check off "Quote Request". Press Save.

Now you’re on your way to being the first to respond to every potential customer.



Spammer protection

How do can I report a spammer on Byzhub?
If you believe an organization is misbehaving on Byzhub you can go to their organization's profile and scroll down to the bottom of their profile. On the left, click on the “Report this profile.” A window will pop up and you can write down the details of why you want to report this profile. Give examples of spamming activities of this organization.

How do I stop people from spamming me with emails?
If someone keeps sending you promotional emails you can delete them from your network. You will not receive their ByzBuzz in your email box when they are not in your network anymore.

How can I report a business registered in the wrong category?
If you believe an organization is in the wrong category on Byzhub you can go to their organization's profile and scroll down to the bottom of their profile. On the left, click on the “Report this profile.” Or contact them directly through their profile page.
